71st National Billiards Championship Tournament, which was sponsored by the Automobile Association of Ceylon (AAC) was conducted by the Billiards & Snooker Association of Sri Lanka (B&SASL).
The final of this Tournament was played at the AAC tables recently.
Irshad Thaha of Moor Sports Club was emerged as the Champion of the Tournament, M M Mudeen of Sri Lanka Army was the Runner Up and M M Rikaz of Sri Lanka Air Force was the second Runner Up.
The Prize Giving Ceremony of the Tournament was held in the AAC Billiards Parlour.
S V Ganesh, Vice President – AAC was the Chief Guest for this occasion and gave away the Prizes to the Winners. In the presence of Ziham Hussain – President, Zuraish Hassim – Vice Patron & Niranjan Abeysena – General Secretary are of B&SASL together with Kumara Lanerolle – Sectional Chairman Billiards, Lasitha Gunaratne & S Ravi, EXCO Members of AAC.
